Dolomiti Superski Alta Val Pusteria - gorgeous slopes, fantastic panoramas

Unique, ski resort Dolomiti di Sesto

The ski resort Sesto Dolomites is one of the largest ski areas in the eastern Dolomites. It offers, among many other things, the steepest slopes of Italy in front the impressive panorama of the Unesco world heritage natural site. Skiing in the Alta Val Pusteria offers a wide range of well-maintained pistes and modern lifts. The connection of the ski areas in Helm and Sesto in winter 2014/2015 opens a new dimension of alpine skiing.

If you prefer a less extensive but welcoming resort, try out the small skiing area in Braies. Beginners and children can ski down the peaceful ski slope in Braies without worries. You can quickly reach all the skiing areas from Braies using public transport or the car.

A real insiders’ tip is the small but mighty ski area on the mountain pass “Passo Monte Croce” where once Marc Girardelli practiced. This area, 1630 meters above sea-level and equipped with two T-bar lifts, is only used by a few skiers. Marvelous alpine sun, snow-white summits, and the finest powder snow conditions until the end of March are waiting for you.
